Madelyn’s Studio Senior Session

Spring Creek High School Senior Portraits by Lindsay Syme Photography

I had the privilege of photographing Madelyn for her high school senior session at our studio. Madelyn is graduating from Spring Creek High School this week! So exciting!

One of my favorite things about Madelyn is how comfortable and easy-going she is. Spring Sessions are tricky in Northeast Nevada because the weather doesn’t always cooperate. Mother nature tends to be that box of chocolates we remember Forest Gump talking about. We never know what we’ll get! As you can imagine, I was thrilled Madelyn wanted a studio session!

Check out some of my favorite images from this studio senior session:

Elko County High School Senior Snow Session

Elko County High School Senior Snow Session with Lindsay Syme Photography

It’s Monday, it’s spring break, and we have snow!  If you can’t beat it, join it!  Elko County is notorious for a snowy spring break.  Last year we had about 2 feet fall in one day!  Sometimes photographers need to embrace this weather and go for it!  We battle it all; rain, snow, wind and MORE WIND.  Thank goodness I have the most amazing clients who power through it all!  You would never guess how windy it was by looking at this image!  A snazzy little hood was the fashion statement of the day that made the weather look tame and pleasant as opposed to an angry beast!  Check out this image from an Elko County High School Senior Snow Session…

Never underestimate the power of a good hat for your photo session!  It not only adds interest to your images, it can also mask out the weather elements.

We are now booking Class of 2018 high school senior sessions.  Lindsay Syme Photography currently offers complimentary family sessions for our high school seniors.  It is the perfect time for families to update their portraits before their seniors move off to college.  Contact Elko Photographer, Lindsay Syme for more details by clicking HERE.

Spring Creek High School Baseball Art

Spring Creek High School Baseball Photography by Lindsay Syme

Hi there!  Did you know there are only 73 days until MLB’s Opening Day?  Anyone that knows me is aware of the fact that I am a crazy baseball fan.  The winters are so long when baseball is scarce!  Our neck of the words is covered in snow.  It’s days like these that I come inside and create baseball art if I can’t be outside enjoying it!  Play ball!
